“Rota Palagruzona” the Festival of the sea, fishermen and boats. Tourists who eager for true peace can go to the distant island Palagruza. The path to our most distant islet, in honor of former offshore fishermen,on the traditional boat race with the Latin sail and with two falkusa’s at the forefront.

“Rota Palagruzona” is a traditional regatta of falkusa ,the race starts from Komiza to the great beaches on Palagruza, where it is held “the Pope” dinner in the evening, with fish and wine. This race lasted for centuries, until the appearance of the ship’s engines that didn’t sent Komiska falkusa  in history and thrown into oblivion. It is a unique regatta in the Mediterranean and in Europe, which was held at the beginning of each ” fishing evening” from May to the end of September – the hunting season in blue fish.

Excellent sight on the open sea, which is worth seeing.
