Maybe because I was born there and I have special feelings for this part of Croatia, but let’s be realistic Croatian continent by the tourists has not been discovered yet. But I think one of the biggest advantage of Croatia is their diversity. Actually every part of it have their own specialty. I’m talking about eastern parts of Croatia , a particular region that is called Baranja, where I experienced great wines, delicious food, wonderful nature, and very welcoming people. In Baranja they said: „ The most beautiful thing are wine cellars.“ All major  enjoyers of good wine and good food, know that there lies a real treasure for your taste buds.

A must see and must taste are wines of Erdut. My first visit to these wine cellars left me speechless when I saw myself in front of the LARGEST BARREL IN THE WORLD made of oak, for the carrying capacity of 75,000 liters of wine. This old cellar was established in 1730. and gave to me an amazing atmosphere.

After a long walk on the beautiful landscapes, and it was a looong walk, after I saw benefits of quit and tame village life, where I participated in the charms of rural life from the perspective of villagers themselves, I saw that Erdut is the village where lies more history than in many big cities I travelled. Then I realized the breadth of the area. What surprised me the most was countryside that surrounded me, and orchard where guests can walk and pick up fruits by themselves. There is nothing better and more refreshing after a long day as rural fresh fruit. I think the offer of the town Erdut guests can enjoy all age groups, if nothing else, this undiscovered Croatian region gave me a real vacation for the soul and body, where you can escape from the hectic urban life…
